The name may be Maltese Grocery, but meat is what we’re known and loved for. We offer an extensive selection of meat products, including the highest-grade prime cuts of beef, pork, poultry, handmade authentic Italian sausage, fresh salmon and much more.
Since we process our own meats, we are an Ontario-regulated meat plant held to the highest standards. We age our beef, and our fresh poultry and fish are packed in ice. Wherever possible, we use locally-sourced, ethically-raised animals so that each mouthful will be of the exceptional quality our customers have come to expect.
Specialty butchering and meat products are what we do. We custom cut your steaks extra thick, your veal scaloppini thin, stuff your chops, make a turducken, prepare Korean spareribs or bon-bon spareribs – whatever your pleasure. Just ask if we can get or make it for you. Specialities such as the chicken or pork souvlaki are authentic – we learned how to make them from a Thunder Bay celebrity chef, Jimmy the Greek, himself!
Marinades are free, and we can vacuum seal your selection.
